If you want to become an extreme couponer check out of main CouponVerve.com site and learn from the very best bloggers around the country.
The stars have been lining up for us lately and we’ve been able to score a nice stockpile of items over the last few weeks. For the majority of shoppers, we understand that these trips are EXTREME…many readers only get one set of coupons or their stores are not prepared for the sales. Just remember even though the products were free we still have to pay sales tax. Also our time and transportation costs to make multiple trips to store is also not free and our cost of obtaining extra coupons is not free.
$179.82 Worth of FREE Gillette Razors
The Gillette Razors are part of the Albertsons B1G1 Free sale (see our original post) that’s been going on for the past month. We work with the ordering manager at our Albertsons store almost every week to alert them on products that they might want to stock up on. In this case, our store has yet to run out of supply for this great deal. P&G limits are 4 Like Coupons in a shopping trip - so the max that we could buy at one time is 8 packs. Our Albertsons is only a few block away so we’ve mainly been buying 2-4 at a time per trip.
We got a hot tip from Queen Bee Coupons that Aquafresh was 10/$10 at QFC. Our QFC had an endcap full of Aquafresh. Check out Queen Bee Coupons post to find out how to get these for free! We don’t use Aquafresh so we’ll be donating all 10 to our local shelter.
We scored 10 FREE Brut Deodorants at FredMeyer after reading about a hot tip at The Coupon Project. We don’t use this brand so we’ll be donating all 10 to our local shelter.
We scored our FREE Starbucks Refreshers at Target - combining a sale and in-store Target coupons with a manufacturers coupon. Read about our trip here.
This doesn’t happen very often, and we typically only save 40-50% after coupons per shopping trip. However, our project here was to show you that depending on sales it can be done, it just takes a lot of time, effort, energy to put it all together.
